A perfect family of four approached us for interior design and execution of their 3 BHK apartment in White House, Coimbatore. It had 1 Master bedroom, 1 room for children with a guest room, a furnished kitchen, a dining space with a balcony and a living room with foyer. We planned to blend the inside with subtle hues and gilt to complement the growing trend.
The Foyer and Living room divans were custom made and were finished with Italian suede. The bamboo-coloured flooring evoked a luxurious feeling making it look naturally beautiful. The millwork of the apartment was given an explicit trim that complemented the windows, doors, doorways, and other fixtures. Pops of colour were brought in through furniture and furnishings. Interconnected with fluted glass partition, the living and the dining space looked royal. The Master bedroom needed to be modern and indulgent. Upon entering, the main focal point was the tall headboard made of tufted upholstery, surrounded with brass mouldings on a textured wall. This large bedroom was divided to create a walk-in wardrobe within the room. The Guest Bedroom expressed raw minimalism with its white walls and white wardrobe. The presence of a moulded archway behind the bed immediately draws your attention to it. Wooden mouldings run throughout the room, toning down the white walls.
The children’s room is where we chiselled a honey-coloured bunker bed for two kids with dotted and patterned wall paints along with a perfectly aligned spaces for storage and study. A sleek chandelier in the dining space added a celestial feel. The kitchen, being the soul of every home was given a white finish with well-equipped modern kitchen amenities.
